Mr. Williams is the Chief Executive Office and a co-founder of e-Nicotine Technology. He has 25 years of experience in starting, financing, and operating start-up companies in the technology, biotech, and medical fields. He is General Partner at Summit Life Science Partners, an early stage medical device venture fund based in Park City, UT and New York City, NY. He also serves on the Board of Directors for r4 Vascular, CIRCA Scientific, Summit Access, and CVA Technologies.
Previously, at Alexza Pharmaceuticals in Mountain View, CA, Mr. Williams held Senior Vice President positions in manufacturing, operations, and corporate/business development for Alexza where he was involved in private financings, an IPO and follow-on offerings, as well as other financing vehicles. He also led the effort to put in place the company’s commercial manufacturing operations. He was President, Alexza Singapore Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alexza set up as part of the company’s commercial supply chain efforts and self-funded through a $10 million dollar financing. He also led a spinout from Alexza called Addicere Therapeutics in the smoking cessation space, which was subsequently acquired by Cypress Bioscience. Finally, he led the team that created Symphony Allegro (a special purpose finance entity) raising $50 million dollars for the advancement of two of Alexza’s product development candidates.
Mr. Williams has a Masters of Science of Management from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University.
